Playback problems
What each diagnosis message means, and what to do.
Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.
- "Account expired": what should I do?This message is about the account on your playlist's server (Nipo Player runs with no subscription): renew it with the service that manages your playlist.
- "Connection limit reached": what should I do?Your playlist only allows a certain number of screens at the same time: stop playback on another device, or wait a minute.
- "Your playlist's server is not responding": what should I do?Your internet connection works, but your playlist's server isn't answering. Nipo Player can't fix that server: try again in a few minutes.
- "This channel is not broadcasting": what should I do?Your account works, but this specific channel is sending nothing right now on your playlist's server: try another version.
- "Format not supported by this device": what should I do?The stream arrives, but this device can't decode it (often HEVC/H.265 or 4K video): try another version of the channel.
- A movie or episode is refused (error 406): what should I do?The server refuses this content for your account (limit, region or package): try another version, or contact the service that manages your playlist.
- A channel keeps freezing or stopping: what should I do?Nipo Player tries to reconnect by itself ("Stream frozen: reconnecting…"); if it keeps happening, the stream on your playlist's server is unstable.
- How do I send a diagnostic report to support? On the diagnosis screen, tap "Copy report for support" then paste it into your message: your login details are removed.
- "Login refused": what should I do?Your playlist's username or password is no longer accepted by its server: check them with the service that manages your playlist.
- The TV guide is empty or incompleteThe TV guide depends on a source (your playlist or an XMLTV link): if it stays empty, check that source under "Guide source".
