Copyright & responsible use
Nipo Player hosts no content and cannot see your playlists. How rights holders can reach us.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
We host no content
Nipo Player is only a player. We do not provide, sell, curate or host any channel, film, series or TV content. The app plays the playlists (M3U files, or server/username/password connections) that you add yourself, from sources you choose.
We cannot see your playlists
QR pairing and Nipo-code sending are end-to-end encrypted: our technical service cannot read your server addresses, your credentials, or the content of your playlists (see the Privacy policy). So in these cases we can neither moderate them, view them, nor hand them to a third party, even on request.
The one exception is the optional "Mes playlists" feature (Premium), where a playlist you choose to save in your account is encrypted on our servers but can be decrypted by our technical service to deliver it to your devices — never viewed for any other purpose.
Responsible use
You are responsible for checking that you are entitled to access the content your playlists point to. Nipo Player does not recommend, advise on, or provide any content source.
Are you a rights holder or their representative?
Since we host or stream no content ourselves, there is nothing on our servers to take down. If your report concerns how a user uses the app with their own playlist, we are technically unable to identify or change that playlist (it never passes through our servers unencrypted). You can still write to us: we respond to every legitimate request and cooperate with the relevant authorities within the applicable legal framework.
Contact: legal@nipoplayer.com.
What we can do
- Answer authorities and rights holders about how the app works technically.
- Log and keep a record of requests received.
- Suspend a Premium licence for use contrary to our Terms of use.
What we cannot do
- See, moderate or remove the content of an end-to-end encrypted playlist.
- Identify the sources a user relies on from their playlist alone.
- Block a specific server or stream: Nipo Player never connects to any server on our own behalf, only to the ones each user enters themselves.
