How do I start a live programme over from the beginning?
On a programme's info sheet in the TV guide, "Watch from the start" (Premium) restarts the show from its beginning using catch-up.
Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.
Premium feature (Nipo Premium or Family), already in the app. Relies on the channel's catch-up archive; available when the channel keeps one.
Step by step, with pictures
- 01
From TV Guide, open an on-air programme’s info sheet.

- 02
If the channel keeps an archive, the Watch from the start button appears: tap it. Key OK

- 03
Playback starts at the very beginning of the programme rather than the present moment.

How it works
- From TV Guide, open the info sheet of a programme currently airing.
- If the channel keeps an archive of that programme, the Watch from the start button appears next to Watch.
- Tap it: playback starts at the very beginning of the programme instead of the current moment.
- From there you can move through playback normally, just like a catch-up recording.
Tip
This uses the same mechanism as catch-up: "No archived programmes for this channel" means your playlist's server doesn't keep an archive for it, which isn't something Nipo Player controls. To restart a movie or episode already in progress from its beginning rather than a live programme, see How do I resume a movie or episode where I left off?, which offers From start for free.
