How do I record a live programme?
Record what you're watching, or schedule a recording from an upcoming programme's info sheet, on Android TV and computer.
Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.
Premium feature (Nipo Premium or Family), already in the app. Available on Android TV and computer (Mac and Windows) only.
How it works
- In the player, the record button starts recording the channel you're watching.
- From an upcoming programme's info sheet in the guide, tap Record to schedule a recording ahead of time.
- Find your recordings in My recordings, reachable from Home.
- Recordings are stored on the device (or a connected drive on computer), never on our servers.
Tip
A recording counts as an active stream: if your plan limits how many connections can run at once, Nipo warns you before starting if it would go over your limit.
