How do "Watched" marks and next-episode autoplay work?

A movie or episode seen past 90% is marked "Watched" everywhere: the Continue watching row, a series page, and the automatic next episode.

Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.

Nipo Player tracks your progress in every movie and episode, on this device, with nothing to set up.

How it works

  1. A title counts as Watched once it's been seen past 90%, or with less than 30 seconds left before the end.
  2. On a series page, every episode already seen carries a Watched mark on its thumbnail, and a progress bar shows how far you got on one in progress.
  3. A title marked Watched no longer shows in Home's Continue watching row; a movie watched to the end offers Watch again instead of Resume.
  4. At the end of an episode, Nipo Player suggests the next one automatically, with a cancellable 10-second countdown (Play now to skip the wait, or close the suggestion to stay on the screen).

Tip

This progress is specific to this device: it doesn't automatically carry over to another screen. To remove an unfinished title from "Continue watching" without marking it watched, see How do I resume a movie or episode where I left off?
