How do "Who's watching?" profiles and the kids profile work?

Each profile keeps its own favourites, history and player settings; the kids profile is limited to the categories you allow.

Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.

Premium feature (Nipo Premium or Family), already in the app.

"Who's watching?" lets each person in the home have their own favourites, resume position and settings, without mixing them up with anyone else's.

How it works

  1. Create one profile per person from the "Who's watching?" screen, reachable at startup or from Settings.
  2. Each profile keeps its own favourites, history, hidden channels and categories, and player settings (subtitles, audio language) separately.
  3. The kids profile is limited to the categories you choose to allow: it can never show a locked or adult-rated category, whatever the setting.
  4. An optional profile PIN protects switching away from a kids profile.

Tip

Switching profiles doesn't change your playlist: the same button used to switch playlists also shows your profiles. The free parental PIN control stays available on top of profiles, to lock categories for everyone.
