Nipo Player

Nipo Player on Google TV: frequently asked questions

Nipo Player installs from the Google Play Store on Google TV (Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV televisions) and works exactly like on Android TV.

Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.

Google TV is the version of the Android TV interface used on Chromecast with Google TV and some newer televisions: Nipo Player, the media player for your own playlists, installs and works there exactly like on Android TV.

How to install it

Nipo Player installs from the device's Google Play Store. Once installed, add your playlist by M3U link or Xtream login with the remote, or send it for free from your phone using the Nipo code shown on screen (see Send a playlist from the website).

Good to know

Every feature (live, movies, series, catch-up, TV guide, favourites) behaves the same as on Android TV: the same D-pad remote, the same shortcuts (red key for favourites, green key for the guide, on remotes that have colour keys). On the home screen, the "Continue watching" row works the same as on Android TV; the favourite-channels row doesn't show up everywhere on Google TV (see Android TV home screen rows).

See the download and current availability on the Google TV page.
