Using the LG Magic Remote pointer with an M3U player
Nipo Player recognises the LG Magic Remote's pointer: hover an item to select it, click to open it, or switch back to the arrow keys at any time.
Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.
On LG televisions, Nipo Player automatically recognises the Magic Remote's pointer, alongside the regular arrow keys.
How it works
- Move the Magic Remote: a cursor appears on screen, and Nipo Player switches to pointer mode.
- Hover over a channel, a poster or a button: it gets selected, as if it had the focus.
- Click (the remote's centre button) to open it, exactly like pressing OK.
- Press an arrow key at any time to switch back to the regular arrow-key mode: the focus picks up right where the cursor was.
Tip
Both modes mix with nothing to set up: put the Magic Remote down to navigate with the arrows, pick it back up to return to the pointer. See also Remote control shortcuts on a TV for the colour keys and the long press on OK, which also work with the Magic Remote.
