Nipo Player

Nipo Player on Fire TV: frequently asked questions

Nipo Player installs from the Amazon Appstore, and on Fire OS models also as a direct file. Your phone's QR code is the fastest way to add a playlist.

Nipo doesn’t provide, sell or host any channel, movie or playlist: it plays what you already own.

Nipo Player, the media player for your own playlists, installs on Fire TV in one of two ways depending on the model.

How to install it

Nipo Player installs from your Fire TV's Amazon Appstore. On Fire OS models (older Fire TVs), a direct install file is also offered on the Download page, for households who'd rather not go through the Appstore. Once installed, add your playlist by M3U link or Xtream login, or send it for free from your phone using the Nipo code shown on screen (see Send a playlist from the website): faster than typing a form with a Fire TV remote.

Good to know

The newest Fire TV Sticks (since 2025) run Vega OS, a system that only allows installing from the Amazon Appstore, with no direct install file. On older Fire TVs (Fire OS), both options are offered.

See the download and current availability on the Fire TV page.
